Oh so fabulous!

Have you ever heard of a $20 facial?! I just discovered that Ulta offers 20 minute facials for $20! That is so feminine, fashionable and fabulous! Sorry for all the exclamation points, I just got a little excited about it. Naturally I had to go check out this deal immediately. Overall I had such an amazing experience. My esthetician was so knowledgeable and gave me a thorough review of my skin. Did you know if you dip a q-tip in a half and half mixture of apple cider vinegar and water  and place it on your blemish, they will be gone within 2 days! Anyways, the facial itself was so relaxing and rejuvenating and I walked out with much healthier looking skin. It was also nice to get a service and not have anyone try to hustle and sell me anything extra. Of course since I was in Ulta I couldn't help but pick up a new nail polish as well. Now facials can be a simple luxury that every girl can afford to get. So when your feeling a little down or a little more pimplier than usual, make an appointment at Ulta for one of their four targeted skin treatment facials. You won't regret it

Second Hand & Awesome

    There's nothing like shopping in a place where there is a hidden treasure waiting to be found by you. That's how I think when on my way to shop at a second hand store. I just can't wait to see what I'll find knowing I am surrounded by clothes, accessories and random nick nacks that used to be loved by someone else. So I search, dig and tear that store apart looking for the next unique gem to add to my own collection. When I find that awesome piece, I know because it's love at first sight. Overall it was a successful trip to the Goodwill having scored two awesome pairs of suspenders, an awesome nautical vintage tie, a girly elastic strawberry waist belt, and two sexy lingerie style tops, one of them made of beautiful authentic Italian lace, all for a whopping total of....$14! Now that is second hand and awesome!

    Shopping second hand is feminine fashionable and fabulous...duh! for so many reasons. It allows you to experiment with fashion knowing that you can afford to buy anything in the store and alter the clothes without worrying about possibly ruining them. Worst case scenario is that you lose out on five or ten dollars. Just remember not to buy too much at the second hand store. Not everything is a gem, and you don't want to spend a bunch of money on junk you won't really wear or experiment on. Shopping second hand is also a great way to be eco friendly because it is recycling all kinds of merchandise and reduces waste. Almost all second hand stores are non profit too which means all the money made is donated to a good cause, usually each store has a specific cause that they support. The next time you have the craving to shop but are low on a budget hit a thrift store and look for the next unique piece to add to your wardrobe.

The fashion industry is about being bold. So take a risk and stray away from the trend. As soon as you see it in the magazine, be done with it, and don't look back. Be the leader when it comes to your personal style. Where is the fun in conforming anyway. Fashion is our freedom so have fun with it!
